DATING SITES Part 2
May 22, 2024

Well the last thing on part one was questioning him about the phone he had.

Dummy me, I let it go.  This man really laid the ground work for the scam he was about to do on me.  I think once I started questioning him about different things that I was finding out,  he would get mad and ask me why I was doing that, didn’t I trust him?  He was texting me or calling me every morning and night.  He started calling me Babe right away.  I was so flattered that he would take the time to do that and compliment me all the time.  I hadn’t had a compliment in so long, I had forgotten how it felt.  Even my husband never said anything that would sound like a compliment.  I was lucky if he spoke to me other than what’s to eat or when is supper going to be ready?

One day I was called to the office in the park where I live in the winter  in Florida.  There was a package

For me.  I wondered why it would be left at the office,  then I remembered this guy didn’t have  my lot number.  I opened the box and there was a dozen long stemmed red roses with a vase inside.  That blew me away !!!  No one had ever sent me roses before.  Well now I’m sure I was wrong about him.  Then the first bomb dropped.  He tells me he has to go to Venezuela to finish a building and get paid for it. He assured me he would be back in two weeks. And he was coming directly to me from the airplane. He sent pictures of him talking to a small girl on the airplane.  Told me how it made his day, she was so sweet. Then he calls me when he has a layover .  Then it’s on to his destination.  He told me what hotel he was staying in, he didn’t exactly tell me, he sent me a copy of his flight itinerary  and also the cost and reservation at a hotel.  So I had that info.  (Which was fake).

After a few days, he calls with bad news.  It seems he had a building for storing all the items he needed  to finish the job, and and someone had broken into it and stole all his inventory.  And he couldn’t get to his money because his bank thought he had been hacked because he supposedly used his card and had not notified that he would be out of the country.  He showed  me a bank notice, that showed he had $20,000.000 in the bank.   No matter what he told them they did not believe him and would not open his account back up.  So he starts asking me to send him money. I refused, then he got sick, but it cost $450 to go to a clinic there  to get checked out.  He couldn’t ask his mother for help because she had heart trouble and he didn’t want to worry her.

He kept begging me to send him the money.  When I told him I did not have that kind of money, he wanted me to get a loan for it.

I refused and he started to get mean and called me all sorts of names.

Look for part three next blog.
